Dennis Wilkins, “Smiley,” owner/operator
Dennis Wilkins, also known as “Smiley,” has been fixing engines and doing mechanical work for more than 30-plus years. Now, as owner and operator of his own New Hampshire automotive and truck repair shop, D & D Truck & Auto Repair, Smiley prides himself on the opportunity to create a welcoming environment for vehicle owners.
Ethical, honest, hard-working and knowledgeable, Smiley, an ASE Certified Master Technician, enjoys fixing and repairing engines of all types. In fact, Smiley considers his expertise with fixing mechanical parts “a gift.” The end result of hearing an engine run well always provides him with great satisfaction.
Every day he looks forward to diagnosing engine and repair problems, considering no job as too small or too big.
Even while he worked 25-plus years as head fleet mechanic for New England Homes, Inc., also in Greenland, fixing trailers, light, medium and heavy trucks, he began repairing small engines as a hobby. It began as a way to help out the local community, fixing snow blowers and lawn mowers. But then Smiley recognized the need so many had to get their small engines serviced and repaired in New Hampshire and decided to extend his services professionally.
Each and every day, Smiley looks forward to answering questions, repairing engines and providing the best customer service. For the owner/operator of D & D Truck & Auto Repair, smoothly running engines and “word-of-mouth” testimonials are simply a continuing source of pride.
